Privacy Policy

Placement data is some of the most personal data a college holds. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we keep it safe.

  1. 01Who this policy covers

    This policy applies to everyone who uses the platform: placement officers and college staff, students, faculty mentors, recruiters, and visitors to this website. The college that subscribes to the platform decides why student data is collected; we process it on the college's behalf.

  2. 02Data we process

    • Student records provided by the college: name, roll number, programme, branch, marks, backlogs, gap years and category where the college requires it.
    • Details students add themselves: skills, projects, internships, certifications and resumes.
    • Test data: answers, code submissions, scores and, where proctoring is enabled, webcam snapshots and activity signals such as tab switches.
    • Recruiter details: name, company, work email and the actions taken on drives.
    • Website forms: the name, email, institution and message you submit when signing up or requesting a demo.
    • Technical data: device type, browser, IP address and logs needed to keep the service secure.

  3. 03How the data is used

    Student data is never sold, never used for advertising and never used to build profiles for anyone other than the college.

    • To run placement activities for the college: eligibility checks, drive notices, tests, shortlists, interviews, offers and reports.
    • To give students feedback on their resumes through the AI Resume Coach.
    • To prepare placement and accreditation reports requested by the college.
    • To secure, support and improve the service.

  4. 04AI features

    The AI Resume Coach reads a resume to give feedback on clarity, impact and readability. It does not write resume content for students and does not rank students for recruiters.

    Resume content is processed only to produce feedback for that student and their mentors. It is not used to train models for other customers.

  5. 05Sharing with recruiters

    Recruiters see only the student fields the college chooses to share, and only for the drives they run. When a drive closes, the recruiter's access to that drive's student data ends. Downloads, where the college allows them, are logged.

  6. 06Proctoring data

    Webcam and activity data is collected only during a test, used only to review that test, and deleted after the retention period set by the college. Students are told what is recorded before a test begins. Flags are reviewed by a person, not acted on automatically.

  7. 07Storage and security

    Data is hosted in India, encrypted in transit and at rest, and protected by role-based access. Access by our staff is limited to support and maintenance and is logged.

  8. 08Retention

    College data is kept for the length of the subscription and any period the college requests for accreditation. When a college leaves, its data is exported on request and then deleted within 60 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.

  9. 09Your rights

    Students and staff can ask to see, correct or delete their personal data. Because the college controls student records, we will pass such requests to the college and help it respond. Website visitors can contact us directly about data from our forms.

  10. 10Cookies

    This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. The platform uses session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
